The Young Filmmakers and Digital Content Forum (also known as the Young Filmmakers Forum) is a biennial event that provides critical discussion on films, filmmaking and digital creative content.

Past panel members have included James Lee, Ahmad Idham, Diana Danielle and Khairil M. Bahar, as well as representatives from Canon, Astro First and Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC), among others. It was also held at Sound Stage Studio, FINAS, Hulu Kelang. They were well attended, with a total of over 2000 participants taking part. They range from industry professionals to student filmmakers, as well as members of the public, providing a unique networking opportunity for all.

It runs concurrently with the Malaysian Digital Film Awards (MDfA), a biennial awards ceremony that celebrates the best of digital filmmaking in Malaysia and beyond. First held in 2013, it is the only ceremony that pits fresh new talent against experienced industry professionals. Past winners included Ellie Suriaty Omar, Azharr Rudin, Adam Sinclair and Paul Gan, winner of the inaugural Best Young Filmmaker award.

MDfA and YFF is a non-profit event organised by Institute of Arts and Media Studies, Malaysia (SEMESTA), an organisation of experienced professionals with a wide range of academic and industrial experience.
